From window seats to reading corners, from tiny alcoves to full-fledged rooms, nooks come in all shapes and sizes, and can be customised to fit your unique needs and preferences. In this guide we try and outline all key areas of the process from Groundwork right through to the glazing! We hope this gives you some insight to equip you for those all important site visits and initial planning steps!
OVERVIEW
BESPOKE GARDEN ROOMS IN THE HEART OF SURREY
Our garden rooms are built to the highest standards to ensure quality,
structural strength, durability and longevity. Here's what to expect with our builds:

Ground Works- undertake all groundworks necessary for preparation of concrete base

Concrete base- construction of a concrete base, reinforced with steel rebar, with appropriate damp proofing

Timber frame stud construction- 95mmx45mm timbers for walls, 150mmx45mm timbers for roof, wrapped in OSB board

Structural steels- steel flitch beams installed over doors and glazing

Insulation- 90mm PIR board insulation installed in floor, walls and roof

Roof- flat roof, EPDM rubber roofing system, no maintenance and 50-year life expectancy. Guttering installed

Glazing- Double glazed aluminium frame, superior in look and durability to PVC

Internal finish- walls and ceiling plaster boarded and plastered. White painted finish and Luxury vinyl flooring in a range of colours. Installation of skirting boards

approach you can decide on the position of the internal wall once the rest of
