Do I need planning permission?

Planning permission is not normally required as our buildings fall under permitted development
(built under 2.5m high externally) Most houses, even in conservation areas have permitted
development rights.

Can I build right up to my boundary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This is allowed under permitted development, and in most cases we do not require access
behind a garden room so can build right up to a boundary or wall.

All our garden rooms come with a 10-year structural guarantee

How long does it take to build?

On average a small garden room will take 3 weeks to build, and a large garden room will take 4
weeks

Does it include any groundworks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can take care of any ground preparation prior to construction of a concrete base. Such as
clearing sheds and existing hard landscaping, and levelling the ground.

We construct a concrete slab 150mm thick and reinforced with steel rebar

We will build up to 30 square metres internally, in a variety of different dimensions.

What if I change the design?

Due to our bespoke approach we can adjust the position of the doors and windows as we are
building the structure. We can even move internal walls to adjust the size of split rooms.

What is the internal finish?

As a standard we plaster all our garden rooms, we paint the interior white and install flooring and
skirting bords so that once we are complete your garden room is ready to use straight away.

Who does what?

You will have direct contact with myself from start to finish. We use the same team on every build to
ensure perfection. Our team consists of a qualified electrician, qualified plasterer, all the doors and
windows are installed by our local supplier Maple glazing. Everything else is taken care of by myself
and our build team

allows you to fit within your budget. We will then arrange a site visit so we can have a face-to-face
discussion to go through all the details and options available. We are happy to provide as much

Once you have an idea on size and design, we will then arrange a site visit so we can have a face-to-
face discussion to go through all the details and options available. You will then receive a full
detailed quote. The quote includes all works outlined and the price provided includes VAT, and is a
fixed price quote.

Once you have received your quote and would like to proceed, we will then invite you to visit one of
our previous garden rooms before agreeing to any work.
